COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. (April 6, 2026) – The Colson Center and Focus on the Family today announced the launch of a free four-part small group study called Truth Rising: The Study (TRTS).
“God has placed us in an incredibly weighty moment in the history of Western civilization,” said John Stonestreet, President of the Colson Center. “The most important thing for Christians is to understand our God-given calling to this moment in history. Truth Rising: The Study equips Christians to live out this calling in this moment with hope and courage.”
As a companion to Truth Rising the film, TRTS equips Christians with a gameplan for this pivotal moment by focusing on four key ingredients of developing a Christian worldview, hope, truth, identity, and calling. It is a formation tool for Christians who want to do more in this cultural moment than exist or survive.
Truth Rising: The Study is taught by John Stonestreet, President of the Colson Center and allows you to see what courage can look like in this moment through the inspiring stories of Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Jack Phillips, Chloe Cole, and Omega Buckner. Each lesson teaches a key ingredient of the Christian worldview - hope, truth, identity, and calling.
TRTS prepares Christians to speak and live the truth by equipping them with clarity on:
- Hope-What’s true about our moment?
- Truth- What’s true about reality?
- Identity- What's true about a human person?
- Calling- How am I called to live?
This ready-to-use resource includes four teaching videos, four courageous story videos, a small group facilitator guide, and a participant guide. TRTS can be used individually, or by small groups at home, school, church, or in your community.
Participants who complete Truth Rising: The Study are invited to facilitate their own Truth Rising: The Study group in their home, church, school, or community.
Christians have been reconciled by God not just to survive this cultural moment, but to join His work of restoration in the world. By facilitating a Truth Rising: The Study group Christians can be a part of helping others know the Truth and live it out with courage.
Here are four easy steps to become a Truth Rising: The Study Facilitator.
- LEAD Host a TRTS Group church, home, school, or community.
- REPEAT Encourage others to host a TRTS group.
