Faith in Every Diagnosis
“I've been listening to the Strong Women podcast for years and truly appreciate your work. My husband and I have three daughters, and when we found out we were pregnant again, we decided to undergo genetics testing for the first time—just for fun—to find out the baby’s sex. We were shocked when the results came back abnormal at 12 weeks. As the pregnancy progressed, we were repeatedly asked if we wanted to terminate. Each time, we firmly said no, yet they kept asking. It still angers me to think how many babies are misdiagnosed and how easily termination is assumed as the answer. But I trusted that God has a purpose for our child’s life.
Our precious daughter, Anna, was born at 36 weeks and spent six months in the NICU as we learned about her unique medical needs. During that time, the stories of faith and hope on the Strong Women podcast gave me strength for the journey. Now 3 ½ years old, she has severe physical and cognitive disabilities, relies on a g-tube, and faces many medical challenges—but she is deeply loved by her parents and three big sisters.
Thank you for speaking to my heart then and now. Raising a child with severe disabilities is both a blessing and a heavy burden. It can feel lonely and isolating, but today, I feel seen. Thank you.”

From hesitation to courage
"I had been noticing the invasion of the trans-agenda into my life in different areas and had been unclear as to how to respond, but urgently felt the need to speak up. I even sough council at my church and with others in my community, but was told the issue is too big for me to fight. After consistently listening to Breakpoint, I knew I had to (graciously, and with wisdom) speak up.
The following day I couldn't help but overhear women at the table next to me in the coffee shop converse about a granddaughter who thought she was a boy. My friend and I left, but I stood outside to pray for guidance and then returned to their table to gently address the subject. Two of the women left who were not interested in hearing my point of view, and I was left alone with the grandmother and was able to encourage her. I feel like people just need someone to stand for truth to make them stronger. Thank you for giving me permission and confidence to speak up."

Seeing Patients Clearly
“The Colson Fellows Program has impacted me tremendously, not only in daily life but also in my role as a pediatric ophthalmologist. Through the training of the Colson Fellows Program, I’m better at recognizing the sacred/secular divide. When I’m interacting with my patients and when I feel the prompting from the Holy Spirit nudging me to share, I do. The Colson Fellows program has taught me that holding a Biblical worldview is not about teaching a 5-point mini-sermonette, but rather it’s about understanding the person’s worldview and viewing them in the image of God. That’s what the training equipped me to do — to step back, take a deep breath, and engage with the person. It’s about loving the person, not winning the argument. I can do my part to develop the relationship, and Christ and the Holy Spirit will move from there.”

Faithful Foundations in the Classroom
“Colson Educators plays a vital role in helping my staff nurture Christian commitment in students, while also guiding them to discern different worldviews and navigate cultural flashpoints. For the past three years, our staff has had active access to the Colson Educators, which brings together outstanding Christian instructors who equip educators with the tools and knowledge needed to address the many opportunities and needs they encounter daily in the classroom. I am so thankful for the ongoing encouragement and support Colson Educators has provided to Calvary Christian Academy.”
