Papers by Gray Sutano, Kelly Kapic, Christopher Watkin, and Autumn Ridenour
Luncheon lecture by Christopher Watkin
Please join us for lunch and a lecture by Dr. Christopher Watkin at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society in Denver, Colorado, on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
Dr. Watkin will reflect on how the Christian vision of humanity offers a richer alternative to both autonomous mastery and misplaced dependence in an AI age. As creatures who are made in the image of God, humans possess a dignity we receive rather than manufacture or earn. What does this vision mean for our use of AI, our relationships, our work and worship, and for the challenge of remaining fully human in a world increasingly shaped by intelligent machines?
Lunch will be provided. Space is limited; registration required by November 6.
The Institute for Christian Anthropology, an initiative of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview, works with evangelical theologians to address what it means to be human and to respond to questions about embodiment, technology, and meaning.
