Is Philosophy for Christians? | Ross Inman

In Colossians 2:8, the Apostle warns us not to be taken captive by hollow and deceitful philosophy. Does this mean Christians shouldn’t seek wisdom outside or alongside of Scripture? To answer, Shane welcomes Dr. Ross Inman, author of Christian Philosophy as a Way of Life: An Invitation to Wonder.

Show Notes

It’s tempting to believe that the biblical story of creation was God’s “Plan A,” a plan lost and ruined by our sin. In this view, Jesus and the Church are Plan B, and creation is like a ticking time bomb waiting to be destroyed. But as author and theologian Edward Klink points out, Jesus and the Church were always Plan A. And God is not replacing His original creation—He’s renewing it. Every Christian is called to participate with Him in that renewal. In The Beginning and End of All Things, Klink traces the story of redemption from Genesis to Revelation, revealing God’s unchanging purpose for creation, including us! Come get a vision of how God is renewing all things and learn how you can join Him in that renewal wherever He has placed you. Get your copy today by visiting colsoncenter.org/upklinkresource.
