Doubts and hard questions are a welcome part of the Christian life. But many young Christians today are being encouraged to “deconstruct” their faith. Culture becomes the standard of truth instead of Scripture, and many young believers walk away from faith altogether. To help the Church offer a better way to those who are deconstructing, Alisa Childers and Tim Barnett have written The Deconstruction of Christianity. They define what deconstruction really is, why it’s appealing to so many, and why it’s harmful.
