The Colson Center Celebrates 10 Years of Ministry

Equipping Christians with Clarity, Confidence, Courage for This Cultural Moment

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. (June 15, 2026) – The Colson Center is celebrating ten years of ministry dedicated to advancing the legacy of the late Charles W. Colson by equipping Christians to live with clarity, confidence, and courage in this cultural moment.

“Chuck Colson knew that Christianity is not merely a set of private beliefs, but truth that speaks to every area of life,” said John Stonestreet, president of The Colson Center. “The Colson Center exists to carry that vision forward by helping Christians understand their faith, live it confidently, and engage the world with wisdom and conviction. We give thanks to God for His faithfulness over the past decade and remain committed to serving the Church for generations to come.”

The Colson Center equips Christians to live faithfully in this cultural moment by serving Christ in every sphere of life. Through Colson Fellows, Colson Educators, the podcast Breakpoint, and other educational resources, The Colson Center prepares Christians to celebrate what is good, resist what is evil, create what is missing, and restore what is broken for the glory of God and the good of their neighbors.

The Colson Fellows Program, originally launched by Chuck Colson as the Centurions Program in 2004, has commissioned 7,355 Colson Fellows to date. More than 500 members of the Class of 2026 were commissioned at the annual Colson Center National Conference, held May 29–31 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The conference welcomed 2,466 attendees from 47 states and 8 countries for teaching, worship, and fellowship.

Today, approximately 1,800 men and women from diverse backgrounds and vocations are participating in the Colson Fellows Program. Since 2019, annual enrollment has grown from 224 participants to the current 1,800. The program now operates through 95 Regional, Online, and International cohorts, as well as 133 Church Affiliate cohorts, hosted by local congregations across North America and beyond.

“The growth of the Colson Fellows program reflects an increasing hunger among Christians for deeper spiritual formation, a more comprehensive understanding of the Christian worldview, and faithful discipleship in every sphere of life,” said S. Michael Craven, dean of the Colson Fellows Program.

The Colson Educators program, which equips teachers to integrate a Christian worldview throughout their teaching, has served more than 36,000 Christian educators since its launch. During the 2026–2027 academic year, educators at more than 30 schools will participate in a 10-month formation experience designed to cultivate intellectual and spiritual formation.

Breakpoint, founded by Chuck Colson in 1991 and now hosted by Colson Center President John Stonestreet, continues to follow a rich legacy of helping Christians take a daily look at culture through the lens of unchanging truth.

The 2027 Colson Center National Conference, themed “Pursue Wisdom,” will be held June 4–6, 2027, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Applications for the Colson Fellows Class of 2027 are open through July 31, 2026. To learn more or apply, visit colsonfellows.org. To learn more about Colson Educators, visit colsoneducators.org.
